چکیده

Many applications in Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) consist of interdependent tasks where the output some is input others. Most existing research on computational offloading does not consider dependency task and uses convex relaxation or heuristic algorithms to solve problem, which lacks adaptability suitable for dynamic environment fast fading channels. Therefore, this paper, optimization problem modeled as a Markov Decision Process (MDP) multi-user multi-server MEC environments, dependent are represented by Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG). Combined with Soft Actor–Critic (SAC) algorithm Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) theory, an intelligent scheme proposed. Under condition resource constraint, each can be offloaded corresponding server through centralized control, greatly reduces service delay terminal energy consumption. The experimental results show that converges quickly stably, its effect better than methods, verifies effectiveness algorithm.

Joint Task Offloading and Resource Allocation for Multi-Server Mobile-Edge Computing Networks

Mobile-Edge Computing (MEC) is an emerging paradigm that provides a capillary distribution of cloud computing capabilities to the edge of the wireless access network, enabling rich services and applications in close proximity to the end users. In this article, a MEC enabled multi-cell wireless network is considered where each Base Station (BS) is equipped with a MEC server that can assist mobil...

Resource Sharing of a Computing Access Point for Multi-user Mobile Cloud Offloading with Delay Constraints

We consider a mobile cloud computing system with multiple users, a remote cloud server, and a computing access point (CAP). The CAP serves both as the network access gateway and a computation service provider to the mobile users. It can either process the received tasks from mobile users or offload them to the cloud. We jointly optimize the offloading decisions of all users, together with the a...

Task Allocation in a Multi-Server System

We consider a slotted queueing system with C servers (processors) that can handle tasks (jobs). Tasks arrive in batches of random size at the start of every slot. Any task can be executed by any server in one slot with success probability α. If a task execution fails, then the task must be handled in some later time slot until it has been completed successfully. Tasks may be processed by severa...
